Seantè Hatcher

LCSW-C

Seanté is an investment property owner and resource-giver. Trained as a Clinical Social Worker, she is passionate about helping those who are in, or have overcome, financial hardships (self-inflicted or not) and want to set boundaries, be fulfilled, and live life on purpose. Wealth-Esteem was formed through her own lived experience of transforming from having transactional relationships (family, friends, and foes) to having authentic, fulfilling relationships with her money and the people around her.


Seanté earned her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Carolina,

College of Social Work and her undergraduate degree from the esteemed Wilberforce

University -The oldest private Historically Black College/University (HBCU) in the Country. She has been a licensed practitioner in Maryland since 2006.

Day 1 Session 1C: Trying to Make a Dollar Out of 15 Cents: Financial Trauma and its effects on Black Folks

With equal pay still not being a reality for black people, its puzzling how little attention is given to finances and financial trauma in therapy. Whether you’re currently living above or below the poverty line, negative past experiences can affect how one relates, makes, and uses money.


Come learn how historical and current financial assaults (self-imposed or not) impact black people and what we can do about them.

  ClinicianFest By The Numbers 

ClinicianFest is a 503c organization.  Proceeds from ClinicianFest are used to fund the co-pays of those in need of mental health services but unable to afford such services in their entirety. We partner with over 216 vendors, agencies, private practitioners, and community support programs to support aid in communities with scarce mental healthcare access and resources. To date, we have assisted over 1100 clients in getting the care and aid they need on their journey.
