Dr. Jenay Garrett, Ph.D., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified EMDR Therapist, and trauma professional with over 15 years of expertise in human services and mental health. As the owner of P.E.A.C.E. Clinical Solutions, LLC, she offers counseling, consulting, and supervision services, specializing in trauma, race-related issues, suicidal ideation, anxiety, and depression.Dr. Garrett is a national speaker known for crafting brave spaces to address complex topics such as generational trauma and workplace culture. Her evidence-based, integrative approaches empower individuals, families, and organizations to foster healing, lean into challenges, and work towards growth. A dedicated advocate for mental health equity in Black and Brown communities, Dr. Garrett founded “Swerve The Stigma” to break down stigmas and encourage open, honest conversations about mental wellness. Her mission is rooted in creating environments where people feel supported, challenged, and a true sense of belonging.
