When Love Is Not Enough: An Adoption Journey
Course Summary:
"When Love Is Not Enough: An Adoption Journey" explores the complexities of adoption, highlighting how love, though foundational, often needs to be accompanied by a deep understanding of the unique challenges adoptees and adoptive families face. This session addresses the layers of identity, attachment, and trauma that may surface, underscoring the importance of adoption-competent support and therapeutic guidance. By looking beyond love alone, adoptive families can foster resilience, openness, and healing, creating a more supportive environment for everyone involved in the adoption journey.
